Public Relations Department

The Public Relations department is responsible for representing USG to the student body as well as the community in general. We advertise upcoming events, contact press outlets regarding events or the staff’s work, and spread the word about USG to students through several forms of communication and mediums. This department works closely with every single staff member to ensure that their work is represented in the best way possible.

Currently, the PR department is working on expanding our social networking sites. We are also spreading the word about USG supplying different promotional items that are to be given out at future USG events. Lastly, this department is starting the open communication with other departments within USG to gather information about their initiatives and upcoming events in order to ensure proper publicity.
