University Affairs Department

This year, University Affairs is going to focus on its relationship with students and working to effectively advocate for changes within the university that will help every single student. We plan on continuing many of the same initiatives that were started last year (such a Gender Neutral Housing options, installing more outlets in areas the students typically gather to do homework, Guest Pass Parking and Course Registration Reform), but we also plan on expanding our mission to reach out to the administration to help educate students on the resources we have here on the campus and to make sure we are the liaison between the university administration and the student body. University Affairs also houses Campus Affairs and Academic Affairs.

Current Update

“Dance Marathon has reached its cap at 1,200 registered Dancers! The
goal of raising $50,000 for Phoenix Children’s Hospital has also
already been broken by these ASU students! Papa John’s, Panhellenic,
Walmart, and Ubisoft have all come on as sponsors this week. I am
currently working on securing enough volunteers for the event and
finalizing the event timeline. All students who raise at least $30 for
Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s 30th Birthday will be entered into a
raffle to win a $25 gas card. If you raise $100 you will be entered to
win one of three $150 Visa giftcards and get a 15 minute sitting pass.

The Centennial Professorship marketing should be out next week.
