Mark Naufel
President

My name is Mark Naufel, and I am the president of the Undergraduate Student Government at Arizona State’s Tempe Campus. I am currently double majoring in Finance and Computer Information Systems, along with a minor in Political Science. I was born and raised in Tempe, and attended Corona Del Sol High School. I started my involvement with USG as a freshman and interned for the Technology & Innovation department where I got a proposal passed which would allow professors to upload a tentative syllabus online during classroom registration. My goal as USG president is to be ambitious in pursuing realistic goals. I believe that my prior experience in the organization will help me accomplish that and more as we strive to promote student’s interests and rights on our campus and in our community.

Rob Wiley
Vice President of Services

My name is Rob Wiley, and I am the Vice President of Services of the Undergraduate Student Government at Arizona State University’s Tempe Campus. I am a student in Barrett, the Honors College majoring in Accounting at the W.P. Carey School of Business. I started my journey with student involvement as an Intern for the Arizona Student’s Association, where I advocated for accessible and affordable higher education. From there, I continued my involvement and joined the Undergraduate Student Government where I currently held the position of the Academic Affairs Coordinator. As the Academic Affairs Coordinator I worked on initiatives that increased the number of outlets in the major libraries on campus as well as got a proposal passed to extend the drop period to offer students more time to withdraw from courses each semester. These are just a few of the positive contributions I have made to the Arizona State University thus far, and I am looking forward to taking on new projects that will increase the Sun Devil experience for every student.

I am a junior from Laguna Beach, California and I am getting my B.A. in Political Science as well as a certificate in international studies. During my freshman year at ASU I volunteered on the campaign of now Congressman David Schweikert. After he won the election he invited me out to intern with him in Washington D.C. for the spring semester. There I learned a great deal about government and the legislative process. From there I was appointed the Student State chair in Arizona as well as the ASU chair for the Mitt Romney Presidential campaign. I also went on to intern for Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and Senator John McCain. I believe that my knowledge and experience in the public policy process will help me serve the ASU student body. I look forward to advocating and pushing for policies that will support the best interests of our community.
