Derrik Hester
Special Events Director
My name is Derrik Hester and I am a senior from Lakemoor, Illinois, who is currently pursuing a degree in Communications. My role at Special Events Director is to lead my department in programming varied events that encompass social awareness, celebrations of cultures and diversities, and special interests to undergraduate students, while at the same time coinciding with the university’s design aspirations (leverage our place, transform society, value entrepreneurship, conduct use-inspired research, enable student success, fuse intellectual disciplines, be socially embedded, engage globally). Each of these events by their nature must reach a large ASU undergraduate student audience and must seek to engage, inspire, educate, and/or galvanize that audience.

Anthony Maggio
Special Events Coordinator
My name is Anthony Maggio and I am a junior from Tempe, Arizona, who is currently pursuing a degree in Legal Studies. I want my department to provide both fun and educational events to the student body. These events will help increase awareness to students about common issues or obstacles they may face down the road. I would like to see the department as well as myself, increase attendance to educational events. Also, I would like to make the collaboration between USG and PAB much more efficient and transparent.

Leah Osadchuk
Spirit, Pride, Tradition Director
My name is Leah Osadchuk and I am a junior from Woodbury, MN, who is currently pursuing a degree in Economics. My role as Spirit, Pride and Tradition Director is to enhance the college experience. In enhancing the ASU experience this requires information from all students who attend the University. With this information I plan to go out and help reconcile how different programs may be run, and to distribute this information for a better recruitment and experience for the different organizations. I will accomplish my goals by furthering my working relationship with the university executives and to help foster the conversations between the executives and the organizations with desire.

My ultimate goal in working as the Health and Wellness Director this semester is to continue to collaborate with ASU organizations and departments to develop, enhance, and improve programs and events that encourage mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
